Celeste Barclay Books

Celeste Barclay books combine history and heat. She has a created a connected world that brings all her series together, so readers never have to say goodbye to their favorite characters.

To begin at the very beginning, The Clan Sinclair is Celeste’s first series. Readers can join Celeste’s historical world with His Highland Lass or Their Highland Beginning, which is a prequel about the five siblings’ parents.

The next series in historical chronological order is The Highland Ladies and The Highland Ladies Always. Readers meet Elizabeth Fraser, the heroine in A Spinster at the Highland Court, in both book four and book five of The Clan Sinclair. Once a single 15-book series, there are now eight books in The Highland Ladies and seven books in The Highland Ladies Always.

Celeste longed to return to her beloved Sinclairs, so she created a second generation that merges the children from The Clan Sinclair with The Highland Ladies and The Highland Ladies Always. Readers can return to the family that launched it all with Highland Lion, the tale of Wee Liam, the first of the second generation and the son of the couple in His Highland Lass.

Celeste has just begun House of Clan Sutherland with the prequel Highland Love Comes Calling. This story picks up at hte end of Their Highland Beginning. The series will go on to tell the stories of the children from the couples in A Wallflower at the Highland Court, A Saint at the Highland Court, and A Beauty at the Highland Court.

Pirates of the Isles takes readers on a journey from England to Scotland to Ireland, and to the Mediterranean. These notorious seafarers and their pirate queens are the ancestors of the characters in The Maharaja’s Daughters and The Earl’s Governess. These last two take readers from the 16th-17th century to the Regency.

Celeste’s newest series will follow the lives and loves of the third generation of Sutherlands. New books will release throughout 2024-2026.
